Meet Julie & Rob

Julie

Kiefer Photography started because of a lifetime love, and dedication, to the art of photography. Julie Kiefer, owner of Kiefer Photography, has been capturing images for over 20 years and continues to find the challenge, and the beauty, in the process.

As a photographer, Julie puts an emphasis on capturing images through a responsive or natural approach. With this in mind, she strives to memorialize portraits that represent what was occurring at the time the image was captured. Over the years, Julie has discovered that the natural and relaxed movements of everyday life can make the best photographs.

Kiefer Photography offers portraiture, wedding and engagement services as well as several different fine art options. Kiefer Photography captures the special memories of clients in the east central Illinois market but will also travel to the metropolitan areas of Indianapolis, Chicago and St. Louis.

Julie is a native of Indiana and holds several degrees, including one in journalism and photography. She also holds a masters degree in Human Resources.

Her photographs have been published in several different anthologies and Julie has been honored by winning several awards for her photography.

Member of PPA (Professional Photographers of America), PSA (Photographic Society of America), NANPA (North American Nature Photography Association), NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals) and the Illinois Artisans group.

Rob

Rob has always had an interest in photography and, when Kiefer Photography was started, he found an opportunity to increase his photographic skills. Julie and Rob work together on photographic sessions, ensuring every image enhances the subject’s natural beauty. Rob has several roles within Kiefer Photography, including the second photographer.

Rob is a member of PPA (Professional Photographers of America) and NANPA (North American Nature Photography Association).
